A Defective Leather Finish Repair

Defective Leather Finish Fixed

Once in a while a part of your leather may have been finished improperly and it just doesn’t look like the rest of the piece. Such is the case in this post. One part of the center seat cushion was peeling and rough.

I sanded the area smooth, applied my primer, mixed the matching color pigment and airbrushed on.

After drying, a clear coat was applied to seal the pigment so it can be cleaned and then the last touch, the protection cream. The seat is now refinished and looks like it should, to make you proud of your leather furniture.
