Services - General FAQs
Guarantee & Refund Policy
We guarantee our work for 60 days. We reserve the right to return within those 60 days and repair the original issue.
If we are at fault and can't return through some reason of our own, we will refund that part of the repair cost. We must be given the opportunity to return and repair the original repair in order to issue a refund.
Is There a Service Charge?
Yes. Just like all mobile service businesses, we have to. It’s simply a fact of life.
Our Service/Inspection Charge is $75.
That covers the trip to you, as well as the time, labor, and expertise needed to inspect.
Grant will tell you, after inspecting the furniture, what the diagnosis and cost are.

*Just some of the costs for a small business today – even one that keeps its belt tightened: Advertising (a significant expense), Truck Expenses, Bank Charges, Licenses, Accounting Fees, Taxes, Dues & Subscriptions, Insurances (3 kinds), Marketing, Payroll – Technicians and Office Staff, Website Maintenance, etc.
Can You Come To My Home or Office
Sure, we can if you’re in our service area, we do come to your location. We are a mobile service and do almost all repairs on-site.
Because we’re mobile, we don’t have a shop. Even so, there are a few things we can repair here – like dining room chairs, that need to be sturdy so it's a multi-step process.
So, for the most part, what we can repair, we do it at your place. (No dragging heavy furniture to a shop.)
Can You Fix the Frame or Springs on My Couch or Sectional?
Frames or springs can usually be repaired. We don't do that type of heavy work any more.
We do repair smaller chairs. Send some pictures, let's see if we can help.
My Couch is Sagging. Can You Repair That?
No. Not us. However, it can be fixed.
The issue is usually one of the following:
- the padding or cushions have gone flat with time and age
- the spring or webbing has disconnected or broken
- the structure has broken somewhere - a board, leg, or joint
How do you know which one is the issue?
If it happened over time, it's probably the padding or cushions at fault.
If it happened all at once or relatively quickly, that is probably be the springs, webbing, or structure.
Do You Assemble Furniture?
We don’t do assembly or disassembly as a general rule.
If something has fallen apart, then there’s a good chance we can fix it. Fire off some pictures when you contact us and let’s see how we can help you.
As far as assembling out-of-the-box furniture, there are some assembly professionals on both Yelp and Amazon local services. Happy hunting.
Can You Sell Me a Part?
We don’t sell parts because we aren’t set up tax-wise to sell parts.
We include them in the repair service. Our estimates, when we can give them, include the part unless otherwise said.
If you just need a part – dig in like we do and search… with gritty determination sometimes. Alas, there is no shortcut.
Do You Work With Caning or Wicker
Typically, no. Wicker and caning require specialized skills to repair.
That said, if the problem is simply cosmetic or on a different part of the furniture, then feel free to email a picture to us.
We can usually tell you right away whether we can help or not.
Recliner FAQs
Can You Make My Electric Recliner into a Manual One?
No. The innards are just too different. You would spend way more than a new chair.
Do You Carry Parts With You?
“Do you carry parts?” usually means “Can you fix it the first time you come out?”
Most of the time, we can. We try to keep the standard parts in stock and ready to go. That said, recliners come in remarkable variety.
A few manufacturers limit access to their parts - mostly the Big Names in recliners. (You know who you are.)
Fortunately, most manufacturers use parts that are accessible.
Do You Fix Natuzzi Recliners? I Understand they are Different
Yes. We typically can repair both manual and electric recliners.
You are right on the parts. Some of the parts are different – for example, in some manual models, the cables are longer. So we carry those cables, too.
Do You Repair La-Z-Boys?
Sometimes. We'll need a picture of your buttons on the side.
Upholstery FAQs
Can You Fix a Cut or Tear in My Leather Furniture’s Upholstery?
We can't because we no longer work with leather. I hope you find the perfect people to repair it.
My Bonded Leather Couch is Peeling, Can You Fix It?
We don't repair leather anymore.
Peeling bonded leather can't be fixed. However, many repair people can replace a leather panel for you.
